Hurricanes Katrina and Rita have impacted our lives far more than we could ever imagine. Their rippling affects strained our cultural economy. With so many displaced cultural practitioners migrating outside of Louisiana, we risked losing so much of what has set us apart. Being as such, we recognize the need to preserve and retain our cultural assets. As we rebuild our cultural capacity this portal is meant to be a clearinghouse of information for the cultural community. The Bulletin Board is an opportunity to share ideas and experiences.
