Comments: It seems to me that people have lost sight of the purpose of this forum. We need to voice our opinions---our well-informed opinions---about whether or not Holy Cross should be built on the current property that the Cabrini Church occupies. Personally, I love the church. I find it beautiful and have had many emotional experiences within those hallowed walls. I also feel very strongly about Holy Cross moving forward to continue its 125 year old tradition. It is a difficult decision; however, there should be no decision. Why can't both be saved? Katrina has destroyed so much already...why destroy more? It isn't going to hurt anyone to keep the church and have Holy Cross on the same property. Please someone, think about this suggestion! I am both a Holy Cross graduate and I attend masses at Cabrini Church, please don't make us choose between two beloved institutions.
