Name: Luisa Dupry
City: Paris, France
Specific
property
affected:
Cabrini, 5500 Paris
Comments: FEMA, a City like New Orleans that relies so very heavily on tourism should be extremely sensitive to the International perception that during a time of recovery tearing down a building with the status of Cabrini would be considered, much less allowed. We were extremely proud that the same family that 400 years ago did the stained glass for the Cathedral at Chartres was chosen for the stained glass at Cabrini. There is so much sadness that you Americans place so little value on some of your most precious assets. We have a cultural affinity to the United States. General Lafayette with General Washington, the statue of Liberte, New Orleans and the vineyards from California which restored our vineyards when we had blight. You must listen to our concerns.

FEMA, please consider the value of the building. This should be preserved at all costs.
