Comments: Were New Orleanians asked to voice their opinions on what should be salvaged of the Twin Towers? Why should we pay any attention to the anonymous letters or to the letters from anyone not living in New Orleans? It seems to me that there is something wrong with the idea of people outside our city having a voice in what becomes of the buildings at 5500 Paris Avenue. There was something wrong with allowing people outside the city to cast ballots effecting the lives of those who live here but I can understand that more easily than I can understand why FEMA should listen to anyone outside the city. There is no St. Frances Cabrini church or school. If the building has such great architectural meaning it must because it looked good on the drawing board but was a flop in reality. Who in their right mind would keep their "family home" in similar circumstances - that is, unless they won the lottery?
