Comments: Please, please, please stop dragging this out. You are worrying about tearing down a church that is barely 40 years old. What about a New Orleans tradition that is 125+ years old. The longer you prolong this process and the school does not start working on the new facility, they are losing potential enrollment. My son is in the sixth grade and has been in trailors for 1 year and a half. He has never really complained about the situation, but would love to be in a school with a gym, lockers so he doesn't have to carry all of his books around, a real cafeteria. He loves Holy Cross and is very excited about the idea of a new beginning. He will be one of the lucky students to have been part of the old and new. He will take part in the process of the building of a new era. The longer you drag your feet on this issue, the farther the dream seems to get. Please help this city and this school achieve rebuilding. Pass this through and let our sons have the school that they deserve.
