Comments: As a life long resident of the Lake Front I have attended Mass at this church many times. The significance of this building, however, has never been more than a site for Mass. Poor sound quality, poor line of site and the religiosity of and Airport Hilton Conference room were the take-a-ways of the phisical structure. I am currently living in front of my house in Lakeview at the largess of FEME. Durring the re-building process of my home, neighborhood and life, I welcome the double barrels of investment and hope that Holy Cross will bring to the area. Should people be looking for Historic buildings in a city that is 300 years old, they may look to some of the churches that were built 20 years before President Roosevelt was borne not those that were built 20 years after he died.
