Comments: Tulane owns these buildings and should have complete control over what they want to do with them as long as they follow any applicable laws. The buildings aren't being used and are just wasted space. Housing the staging area anywhere else isn't feasible, despite what some suggest. There isn't enough room around the library to allow cranes and storage without building removals. Furthermore, the library desperately needs this expansion. I worked there for four years, there is no room anymore as it currently is.
