Comments: As a resident who lives directly behind the new addition I'm very concern about the proposed plan. Not only are they moving the building 15 ft closer to the street they also proposed to put windows that will be directly across from my bedroom and bathroom. Aprox 30 ft away. After speaking to the architects about this problem they seem clueless about this situation. My second point is how can the city consider houses that are in the VA/LSU hospital footprint that are in ruins and has not been occupied in 40 years historic but do not consider the school cottage which is older, functional, and adds character to the school not a historic building? I do support the renovation of the school which Is in need of updating but I'm not in favor of expanding the footprint of the school at the expense of the neiborhood and believe the funds could be better utilized other projects
