St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church, 5500 Paris Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana
Comments: This building was a money pit that the Archdiocese of New Orleans didn't want to support before the Storm and surely doesn't want to now. If it is allowed to remain will the people who are screaming for it going to support it and make it into something else other than a church? Are they willing to finance it for the next 125 years? I don't believe so. If it is allowed to stay they will go on to another cause and forget about this empty building. It will then just deteriorate until it is torn down anyway. Tear it down and allow Holy Cross to continue doing what it has done for generations, educating young men. Not fighting worthless causes. For worthless buildings that even most of it's neighbors don't even want to remain!
