property
affected:
St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church, 5500 Paris Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana
Comments: It is time to move forward!!! The church was not and is a historical landmark. It has always been difficult to maintain and was in need of repair before the storm. Holy Cross will anchor this neighborhood, as it has for the 9th ward for 129 tears. The school cannot afford to lose the land the former church sits on. If H.C. did sacrifice facilities to have the former church remain, who would maintain it? Holy Cross couldn't /shouldn't take that burden. The archdiocese has decommissioned the church and has agreed with Holy Cross's plans for the property.

High school goes by quick. The boys have handle the past events and current situation with pride and class. I am blessed they are my Holy Cross family. Let's move forward and not ask them to suffer any more uncertainty.
