St. Francis Cabrini Church
Comments: I studied Architecture in College and I can say that in my opinion this church is not worth saving. This issue needs to be closed. You have a high school like Holy Cross where young men are getting an education, trying to recover and provide a better environment to teach in, having to deal with a debut over saving a church where nobody is living to support that church is just unbelieveable. If this is an example of how a city recovers after a hurricane like Katrina by worrying about saving a church that would cost a large amount of money to restore and not worry about educating the next generation then we have lost. Tear it down. Lets teach our children that the city is worth saving and not teach them to move elsewhere. By Holy Cross moving in that area it would start a rebuilding process in that area that is needed, it shows people that yes we are serious about rebuilding the city.
