Comments: It was a great disguss that I hear individuals rallying to support Holy Cross High School, staffed by an order from out of state, at the expense of St. Francis Carbrini Church the life blood of our parish. You support the destruction of a school with grades Pre-K to 8th, for both male and female students, a second school serving both male and female students in a four year high school program to replace them with a school that does not provide educational opportunities for males and female students nor does it offer the full range of grades that the two current schools offered. You support the d4estruction of a community center, a youth center that serve the needs of the community with no viable replacement. You then wish to drive the final stake through the heart of the parish community by destroying the church, with a calouis go to the surriounding parish for your place of worshi[p. All this destruction is being pushed upon us the parish to give the Holy Cross School an opportunity to provide reduced educational opportunities and no place of worship. Holy Cross which claims to want to be a good member of our parish. Well if they wish to be a good community partner then they should stay where they are located and rebuild that area. Our parish has 2 High Schools currently available for male students, Brother Martin and Jesuit, both offer a superior product, a third school will dilute attendence at these schools. SAVE OUR NEIGHBORHOOD BY SAVING OUR CHURCH!
