Comments: I would like to see the church stay intact and be rebuilt. Is it not possible for the school and church to coexist? Furthermore, people living in the neighborhood should rebuild whether or not the church is affected simply because it's the responsible thing to do. Our home is 5 blocks from the school and we have been struggling with rebuilding without considering the status of Cabrini.

Cabrini should have been more thoughtful about their disregard of materials. The stained glass, wood, doors, fixtures, etc., that were salvagable, are mostly gone (stolen, destroyed or dumped into a landfill) - what a shame and a waste. Protecting a sacred place of worship was not a consideration for Cabrini - at all. They make the love and hard work put into creating the church seem fruitless.
