||FEMA, I pointed out that Harrah's didn't use federal money to build which seems to make some individuals uncomfortable. They can't grasp that the 106 evaluation is to determine the effect of the destruction of Cabrini...There can be no more adverse effect than tearing a building down. It is insulting to think that a plaque is a fair exchange for tearing down a beloved building. If Holy Cross spent less time patting itself on the back for its imagined good deeds and even grander promises of reviving Gentilly and more time evaluating what kind of emotional impact tearing down our loved and historic church will have, we would all be better off. Holy Cross has no sense of conscience about any of this based upon the rude comments made by Holy Cross backers.
Were my mother not in need of 24 hour care I would be in New Orleans trying to rebuild my life. My life is in limbo until I resolve all of her problems. I have my own hell thank you.
FEMA, do not allow the destruction of Cabrini for the betterment of rude, shallow and ignorant people.
