Americans for the Arts Emergency Relief Fund
Funds will be used to provide assistance to local arts service organizations located in or serving those areas most affected by hurricane damage to help them rebuild the arts in their communities.

Association of Moving Image Archivists
The Society of Southwest Archivists and the Society of American Archivists have expanded a fund to provide grants to archival repositories affected by hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Emergency Management Assistance Compact
A congressionally ratified organization that provides form and structure to interstate mutual aid. Through EMAC, a disaster impacted state can request and receive assistance from other member states quickly and efficiently, resolving two key issues upfront: liability and reimbursement.

Hurricane Relief Fund of Acadiana

People's Hurricane Fund
Aims to make a concrete contribution to advancing the Katrina Reconstruction and Justice movement during this new phase of political struggle by launching a programmatic counteroffensive, grounded in three fronts of struggle: reconstruction, institution building, and movement building.
