Teacher Workshops
200 Years in the Making: Celebrating the Bicentennial of Louisiana Statehood

The Louisiana Bicentennial Commission and the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism are pleased to present a series of six 200 Years in the Making: Celebrating the Bicentennial of Louisiana Statehood teacher workshops. The goal of the workshops is provide historical background information and educational resources to help K-12 educators integrate standards-based K-12 Bicentennial education resources with core content instruction.

The workshops are open to all K-12 public, private and homeschool groups as well as administrators and librarians. Each workshop is limited to a maximum of 50 participants. A working lunch will be provided.
