LG LANDRIEU TO ADDRESS STATE OF TOURISM, CULTURAL INDUSTRIES IN LOUISIANA POST HURRICANES KATRINA & RITA
To Speak to Industry Leaders from Across the State at LTPA Summit in Lake Charles
WHAT: As Louisiana rebuilds in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Lieutenant Governor Mitch Landrieu will discuss the state of tourism and cultural industries at the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association Summit in Lake Charles.
At a gathering of tourism leaders from across the state, Landrieu will report on where the industry stands in the effort to rebuild through the strategic Louisiana Rebirth plan. Accounting for 13% of the state's workforce, the recovery of these industries is key to the economic vitality of Louisiana.
